Welcome to the Schema Therapy Training website.

‘Van Genderen Opleidingen B.V.’ has organized Standard and Advanced level international Certification Training Programs in Schema Therapy (Individual and Group Therapy) in the Netherlands. From 2018 the offer has been expanded with a complete Training programme in the areas of children, adolescents and their parents.
In addition we organise specialised Training Courses on Cluster C, workshops about Imagery Rescripting, Chairwork, Angry modes, Depression and The Healthy Adult.
On-site company training is also available.

Since 2019 we offer training in English. We started with workshops on Imagery Rescripting and Chairwork. (for more information go to info and agenda)

Since we started, more than 6000 participants have attended and successfully completed one or more of our trainings or workshops.
Those who attend give our training an average rating of 8.7 out of 10. 

The course programs are developed by Hannie van Genderen and later revised in close collaboration with Remco van der Wijngaart, who has also developed a number of specialised workshops and has published DVDs showing how schema therapeutic techniques can be used with almost all types of personality disorders.

The training programmes for children and adolescents have been developed together with Mieke Boots and Maria Blokland.
The courses and workshops include the most recent developments in the field of Schema Therapy, partly due to close collaboration with researchers and professors associated with universities in Amsterdam, Maastricht, and Utrecht. The courses offered by Van Genderen Opleidingen B.V. are all certified by the ISST (International Society of Schema Therapy www.SchemaTherapySociety.org).
