He worked for many years at Rivierduinen and Pro Persona, in which he was a member of the personality disorders expert group and head of Psychodiagnostics. He was also treatment coordinator of the personality disorders team. He has a lot of experience in the field of personality issues (cluster B and C) in the field of diagnostics and treatment. This concerns both group setting as well as in individual processes within the outpatient and (day) clinical setting. He was treatment coordinator schema therapy at the Center for Psychotherapy. He has set up part-time treatments and clinical group treatments according to Farrell and Shaw. He followed various training courses at Farrell and Shaw.
Chris is active as a supervisor and trainer for the Schema Therapy Association, where he is a member of the committee for course accreditation.
In addition, he works as senior lecturer for the specialist training for Clinical Psychologist BIG, for which he is also an annual group trainer.
He also teaches schema therapy at the postmaster program for psychotherapists (adult and child & youth).
Since 2013, Chris has his own practice in which he supervises clinical psychologists and psychotherapists in the area of psychodiagnostics and schema therapy treatment. |
